Description
There has been a great deal of controversy surrounding the new Telehealth CPT codes because the AMA and CMS positions are not aligned in their policies and codes.  The lack of alignment between AMA and CMS on coding for Telehealth E/M services in 2025 has created a sea of confusion for healthcare organizations across the country.  Billing for Telehealth E/M services incorrectly opens healthcare organizations up to enormous compliance risk.  Today’s session will drill down into the intricacies of coding for Telehealth E/M services in 2025, unpack the key clinical documentation requirements, discuss audit targets for the new E/M codes, discuss current payer policies for Telehealth E/M services, identify workflows and roles that are impacted by the new codes, and provide you with tangible information that can be put into action immediately.
